During products’ detailed-design phase, it's crucial to analyze the design for durability and safety. We conduct traditional and numerical stress analysis to validate the structural integrity of the design to resist these failure modes.
During Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA), we identify failure modes and their associated failure mechanisms that can lead to product failure. We develop numerical models to analyze these failure mechanisms. Additionally, we consult industry standards to ensure the accuracy of our mechanical loads, material properties, and design specifications. Abaqus is our software choice for conducting stress analysis on structures.
A significant portion of product development costs is allocated to building design prototypes. The failure of a prototype to pass a stress test, as planned, can magnify product costs due to its impact on time-to-market. Our engineers have developed hundreds of stress analyses in the past. We ensure each project has a well-defined setup before starting design modeling and that our models have the appropriate level of detail to ensure validity and accuracy.
