Omer Yousif, PhD, PE
Mechanistic Design Solutions LLC- established in 2024 by Omer Yousif, offers a range of engineering services grounded in extensive industry experience. Following the completion of his master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Omer held positions at several Fortune 100 companies, including Corning Optical Fibers, Caterpillar, John Deere, Amazon and Google, where his responsibilities encompassed R&D, product development, reliability engineering, and risk management.
During his tenure at John Deere, Omer completed his doctoral studies in reliability engineering (with a focus on Mechanistic Reliability) at the University of Maryland. His professional experience encompasses product deployment in a variety of industries, including construction equipment, optical fiber manufacturing, conveyance systems, robotics, plant engineering, and data centers.
Dr. Yousif, a registered professional engineer in Washington state, has over 22 years of practical engineering experience.
